Wandora has been designed to enable easy aggregation, management and publishing of data and documents gathered from heterogonous sources. Wandora supports rich data extraction capabilities and extracts data successfully from JPG, MP3 and email documents for example. Wandora also imports XTM, LTM, RDF(S), N3 data formats and exports XTM, LTM and N3 data formats. First real-life application of Wandora, built early 2000, was virtual art gallery Kiasmart consisting of digital art images, videos and text information snippets. The Topic Map approach suited extremely well for assorted document types and automatically assembled multimedia product. Although Wandora's initial design emerged from concrete requirements we have found Wandora general-purpose and suited to many different tasks requiring information and document processing. Wandora suits well for storing personal data, mind mapping, mining and analyzing WWW, content and document management, data aggregating and publishing. Read more about possible use-cases here.
